I have been a director of the SLCA since around 1992. My main interests in our neighborhood include improving water quality, stemming overdevelopment, and enhancing community relations. I love the waters that we have to our southwest. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing resource, but with that comes the responsibility to safeguard this beautiful ocean. Protection of the open space, hills and trees in our city are difficult tasks against increasing population and economic pressures. We live in a very special place and I would like to help keep it unique.

I also treasure the great collection of people in this community, really one of the most valuable commodities that we need to tap into more. I am responsible for the creation and maintenance of these web pages, and I hope to reach more of you who wish to make a difference where we live.

Another thing that we seem to forget about our little village of South Laguna is that we are really under a global microscope. Through my work as a global photographer I have found that Southern California is a trend setting region that the world watches. South Laguna is a proven testing ground for many of the things that California has claimed authorship of, such as better waste management, fire prevention and cultural arts just to name a few. We are all in a perfect place to "think globally and act locally". Join us!
